The Rotary Club of Brigg recently invited me to one of their meetings to do a short presentation. I was delighted to accept their kind invitation and received a very warm welcome from the President and all of the Brigg Rotarians. After a lovely meal with the Rotarians, I shared my presentation. Sadly, two people there had lost loved ones to pancreatic cancer so, for them, the dire statistics came as no surprise. Many others though were shocked at how the disease had been neglected for so long and how low the survival rates are. I spent a lovely evening in the company of the Brigg Rotarians and am very grateful to them for allowing me to spread a little more awareness about pancreatic cancer.
