WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
Shaun is in the minority. His Pancreatic Cancer was caught early enough for surgery – unbelievably, only about 10% of patients get this chance!

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?
Survival rates for Pancreatic Cancer have barely improved in 50+ years, with the 5 year survival rate being less than 7%.
Many patients only survive months from diagnosis.

WHAT CAN BE DONE?
People like Shaun (and many who have lost loved ones to Pancreatic Cancer) are passionate about awareness because they’ve witnessed first hand the devastation a diagnosis can bring.
There are so very few survivors to champion the cause
The charities are amazing and do incredible work and, together with their many supporters, they really are improving the awareness message but so much more still needs to be done.
